Equilibrium

What is it: a stylized action flick
What it is about: In a futuristic world, a strict regime has eliminated war by suppressing emotions: books, art and music are strictly forbidden and feeling is a crime punishable by death.
Why you need it: This film is what happens when you mix 1984, Brave New World, The Matrix, and V for Vendetta in a smooth black outfit. It’s a great expression of fascism and humanity, with a few fantastic action sequences thrown in for good measure.
Who made it: Kurt Wimmer
Where you can get it: Online at any major video seller like Amazon.com or Half.com, or right here…
